In line with its commitment to advancing sustainable development and empowering innovative, knowledge-based economies across the Arab region, the ICESCO Regional Office in Sharjah is preparing to co-organize the Arab Forum for Green Growth: Entrepreneurship as an Engine for Development, set to take place in the Emirate of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, from 1 to 3 October 2026. The Forum is jointly organized by the Arab Organization for Administrative Development (ARADO), the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD), and the ICESCO Regional Office in Sharjah, in coordination with partner entities and institutions across the Emirate of Sharjah.
The Forum will bring together a high-level Arab platform uniting policymakers, investors, academics, and green entrepreneurs to transform the region’s environmental and climate challenges into sustainable economic opportunities. It reflects ICESCO’s ongoing efforts to strengthen intra-Arab cooperation in green economy, innovation, and sustainable development, in alignment with the priorities of Member States and the Sustainable Development Goals.
The Arab Forum for Green Growth is a hybrid, interactive event combining in-person attendance with digital participation, and integrates five interconnected tracks: knowledge-sharing sessions, policy-focused roundtable discussions, a mini-hackathon for startup pitching, B2B partnership meetings, and field visits to leading sustainability and innovation institutions in the Emirate of Sharjah.
