In line with its mandate to advance the pivotal role of the family as the cornerstone of social stability and sustainable human development, the ICESCO Regional Office in Sharjah is preparing to organize the ICESCO Regional Family Forum for the, held under the theme “Family… A Balance That Builds the Future,” on 19–20 October 2026 at the ICESCO Regional Office in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
The world today is undergoing rapid transformations driven by the digital revolution, directly reshaping family structures and patterns of interaction. This shifting landscape calls for a renewed balance between harnessing the benefits of modern technology and preserving authentic family values. Within this context, the ICESCO Regional Family Forum emerges as a leading regional platform for dialogue and the exchange of expertise and knowledge on the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing the family in the digital era.
The Forum stems from the profound importance of the family as the fundamental pillar of social stability and human development and reflects a firm commitment to strengthening its role in nurturing generations that are more conscious, balanced, and equipped to engage positively with contemporary transformations.
In support of this vision, the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization – ICESCO – plays a central role in reinforcing efforts aimed at empowering the family and consolidating cultural and human values, through initiatives and programs that keep pace with global shifts and advance sustainable development.
